SMITE: Hera

I had an opportunity to moonlight as a concept artist for a few months, and I was so lucky to get to work on Hera for Smite. Such a fun character to work on, and I've been really pleased with the overall reception from the community. John Bridges and I worked on Argus together- he did a kick-ass job bringing Argus to completion!

Initial explorations. I wanted to make her feel regal, beautiful, and strong.  We looked to incorporate some of the images from mythology, and the peacock feathers were one motif we honed in on.

We decided to go with option 2 from the previous round, but wanted to incorporated some of the other elements from the other options.
